Gender Sensitization Committee

The Gender Sensitization Committee at Samsi College in Malda, West Bengal, is dedicated to promoting gender awareness and equality throughout the college and the larger community. The committee has a mission to create a positive social environment on campus for everyone.

Objectives

To raise awareness about the importance of gender equality
To inspire girls to be fearless and build their confidence
To increase awareness among the public of the value of higher education for girls.
To eliminate the obstacles to gender equality
To make people aware of the human rights of women.
To set up health check-up camps for women.
